Camille Harrison, Percussion

Camille Harrison is a freelance percussionist, pianist, and conductor in the Monterey area. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She regularly performs with Ensemble Monterey. In addition, she has played for the Monterey Symphony Chorus, Western Stage, Monterey Peninsula College Theater, Monterey Peninsula College Concert Band, Santa Cruz City Band, Hartnell Community College Choir, Christian Youth Theatre in Aptos, among others. She studied with William Winant, Mary Jane Cope, and Nicole Paiement in her three fields of performance.

In addition to performing, Harrison is a music educator. She has taught at Hartnell Community College, the York School in Monterey, the Youth Orchestra of Salinas, Music for Minors in San Jose, private piano lessons all over the Bay Area, and the Santa Cruz Children’s School.

Currently, she teaches pre-school through 8th grade music at All Saints Day School in Carmel and private piano lessons; and she serves as the Music Director at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula.

Camille lives in Monterey.
